SDRAWKCAB NIGHT (aka: Backwards Night)

In trying to think of something fun to do as a family, yet stay home and do something simple, we decided to have Backwards Night at our house.  We announced this fun event in the afternoon before supper, and the kids were super excited!! 

We started off by turning our shirts around so they were backwards, and then we each had to find our name place card at the table.  Attending our special dinner was Mit, Nej, Mail, Yelsnia, and Nallak. 

At the table, all the chairs were facing backwards and the table was cleared.  Next we announced that because it was backwards night, we would have to eat our desset first!  Liam and Ainsley were thrilled and giggled with glee as they dove into their ice cream sundaes... made backwards!

After dessert we enjoyed our supper, and then ended our meal by praying.  To finish the evening, we picked out a book that we read backwards, from the end to the beginning, and then had fun doing the freeze dance (which really had nothing to do with being backwards, but the kids thought it would be fun)!  And it was!

What a fun night to laugh, enjoy each other, and create memories!
